Answers
Haputale: questions, answered.
Is Haputale worth visiting?+
Yes — for the views, the working tea estates and the colonial planter's bungalows. It is a more refined stop than Ella for travellers who want quiet.
Lipton's Seat or Adam's Peak?+
Lipton's Seat for the easy dawn drive and the tea-estate panorama. Adam's Peak for the religious pilgrimage and the 5,500-step climb.
How many nights in Haputale?+
Two nights is ideal — one for the train, one for Lipton's Seat at dawn.
