The five bungalows

Castlereagh (1925) — lakeside, largest pool, family-friendly. Summerville (1923) — the most intimate, four suites only. Tientsin (1888) — the original, highest character. Norwood (1890) — quietest, deepest into the estate. Dunkeld — children welcome, lakeside lawns.

How we route it

Two nights minimum, ideally split between two bungalows (Tientsin + Castlereagh is our most-booked combination). A guided walk between bungalows replaces a transfer. Three nights opens up Adam's Peak at dawn (December–April).

Best months

January to early April is the sweet spot — clear mornings, cool evenings, peak walking weather. July and August can be misty; we still send guests then for the atmosphere. Layers required year-round.

Booking realities

Tea Trails sells out for Christmas and February half-term six to nine months ahead. We hold soft allocations as Resplendent Ceylon partners — fastest way to confirm is via our private enquiry route.
