Luxury Sri Lanka holidays, 2026
Luxury Sri Lanka
holidays.
Private, bespoke holidays to Sri Lanka — designed by Sri Lankan locals, run for British and European travellers. GBP pricing, no group coaches, no fixed departure dates.
About our Sri Lanka holidays
A different kind of holiday to Sri Lanka.
A Serendib Sri Lanka holiday is the opposite of a group coach tour. You tell us your dates, your pace and the kind of holiday you want — honeymoon, family, beach, wildlife or all of the above — and we design a private route around the island's finest hotels.
Most British travellers come to us for ten nights. That length covers Sri Lanka's three distinct landscapes — temple country, tea country and beach country — without ever feeling rushed. Honeymooners often stretch to fourteen, families settle on seven or ten, and short-trip travellers focus on one region deeply.
Every holiday package includes hand-picked luxury accommodation, a private chauffeur-guide for the duration, all transfers, and at least one signature experience per region — a dawn climb at Sigiriya with a historian, a reserved train carriage to Ella, a private blue-whale charter from Mirissa.

All-inclusive
Sri Lanka all-inclusive holidays — done properly.
True all-inclusive in Sri Lanka means a single property that includes meals, drinks, excursions and transfers — not a chain buffet. The standout is Ceylon Tea Trails in the hill country: four planters' bungalows, all meals, wine, walks and tea-factory visits included. Wild Coast Tented Lodge at Yala runs the same model for safari.
For multi-region holidays, we build a private route with all-inclusive bungalows in tea country and half-board luxury on the coast — closer to a small-ship-cruise feel than a resort. From £4,400 pp for 7 nights.
How we compare
Serendib & Co vs the big UK operators.
vs TUI
The TUI Sri Lanka alternative
Private chauffeur instead of shared coach. Boutique hotels instead of large resorts.
vs Kuoni
The Kuoni Sri Lanka alternative
Sri Lankan locals, not a London call centre. Often 15–25% lower for the same hotels.
vs Maldives

For British travellers
When to go from the UK.
December – April
Dry season on the south and west coasts and the hill country. Lines up with Christmas, February half-term and Easter — our busiest months for British travellers.
May – September
Dry season on the east coast — Trincomalee, Pasikuda and Arugam Bay. Quieter, greener everywhere else; honeymooners love this window for the lower season pricing.

Financial protection
Every booking is fully protected.
Serendib & Co operates under both ATOL (the UK Civil Aviation Authority's Air Travel Organiser's Licence) and TOPP (the Travel Operators Protection Plan). In plain English: your money, your trip and your journey home are safeguarded at every stage.

Deposit
Your deposit is held in a protected client trust account. From the moment we confirm your booking, TOPP insurance covers the full value of your ground arrangements against operator insolvency.
Final balance
Once you settle the balance, an ATOL Certificate is issued for the flight portion of your trip. Keep it with your travel documents — it is your proof of CAA financial protection.
While you travel
If anything disrupts your trip — a supplier failure, a missed connection, or an unforeseen closure — TOPP funds replacement arrangements so your journey continues without out-of-pocket cost.
After you return
Should Serendib & Co cease trading at any point before your return, ATOL guarantees your repatriation and TOPP refunds any portion of the trip you were unable to take.
"If we cannot deliver your journey, you do not lose your money."
That is the simple promise behind ATOL & TOPP — and it underpins every Serendib & Co booking.
