  • All internal transfers, including reserved first-class observation carriages on the Kandy–Ella scenic train.

  • Signature experiences per region: dawn Sigiriya climb, blue-whale charter from Mirissa, tea-estate tasting, Galle Fort cooking class.
  • All park fees and entrance tickets where applicable.
  • 24/7 in-country concierge on WhatsApp for the duration of your trip.
  • Senior planner from enquiry through return — same person, end to end.

Tour packages vs DIY

Booking the hotels yourself is doable. Booking the chauffeur-guide yourself, with the reliability and English a luxury trip needs, is harder. The reason most British clients use a specialist isn't the hotel rate (we hold preferred-partner rates but the saving is modest) — it's the logistics layer: the right driver, the right ranger at Yala, the table booked at the Mirissa beach restaurant, the train carriage reserved before they go on general sale.

Common questions

What's included in a Sri Lanka tour package?+

All luxury hotels, a private English-speaking chauffeur-guide for the duration in an air-conditioned vehicle, all internal transfers (including reserved first-class train carriages), daily breakfast, signature experiences per region, park fees where applicable, and 24/7 in-country concierge support on WhatsApp.

How much do Sri Lanka tour packages cost from the UK?+

Land-only, two sharing: from £3,200 pp for 7 nights, £4,800 pp for 10 nights, £8,500 pp for 14 nights. Direct flights from London Heathrow on SriLankan Airlines add £700–£950 economy or £2,200–£3,400 business.

Are flights included?+

By default we quote land-only so you keep airline and seat flexibility. We can bundle flights through our ATOL-protected partner on request — typically the package is then ATOL-protected end-to-end.

What's the difference between a tour package and a bespoke tour?+

Our 'packages' are sample routes we build often; they're starting points, not fixed products. Tell us your dates and what matters and we'll customise the hotels, the experiences and the pace. Every booking is private — no shared coaches, no group departures.

Do you have group / escorted tour packages?+

No — we only do private, bespoke tours. If you want a fixed-departure group tour, Intrepid and Exodus serve that market well. We're the answer if you want a private chauffeur-guide and hand-picked luxury hotels just for your party.

Can I do a package with the Maldives at the end?+

Yes — Sri Lanka + Maldives is the most popular twin-centre we book. SriLankan flies Colombo–Malé in 1h 20m. Typical split: 10 nights Sri Lanka + 4 nights Maldives.

Are honeymoon packages available?+

Yes — our honeymoon packages run 10–14 nights, focus on adult-only luxury hotels (Amanwella, ANI Sri Lanka, Tea Trails sole-use bungalows), and include candlelit beach dinners, helicopter transfers between regions, and a sole-use villa finish.

How far ahead should I book?+

Christmas/NY and Easter peaks: 6–8 months. Shoulder months (March, October, November): 3–4 months. Anything under 8 weeks we'll quote — sometimes the best hotels have last-minute rooms — but the flagship suites tend to be gone.
