Kuoni is a British luxury tour operator with a curated catalogue of routes and hotels worldwide. Serendib & Co is a Sri Lanka specialist with in-country offices, building each itinerary from scratch rather than fitting clients into a catalogue. You get a similar luxury level — often the same hotels — typically at 5–15% less because there's no London-office overhead in the price.
Are the hotels the same?+
Largely yes — Ceylon Tea Trails, Cape Weligama, Amanwella, Wild Coast Tented Lodge, Anantara Peace Haven, Water Garden Sigiriya, ANI Sri Lanka. We use the same top tier. Where we differ is the boutique hotels Kuoni's catalogue doesn't reach — heritage townhouses in Galle Fort, the small estates in the hill country, owner-run villas on the south coast.
Is Kuoni more reliable / safer?+
Both are ATOL-protected on packages including flights. Kuoni has the brand recognition of a 100-year-old British operator. We're smaller, Sri Lanka-only, with our own ground team in Colombo — which often means faster on-the-ground problem-solving when something needs adjusting mid-trip.
Will I save money switching from Kuoni?+
