Dambulla sits at the crossroads of the Cultural Triangle — a working market town crowned by a UNESCO-listed cave temple complex with five painted shrines carved into a granite outcrop. It is the most logical base for Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa and Minneriya safari in one short loop.

1. Day 1 — Arrival & cave temples. Private transfer in, late-afternoon cave temple visit, dinner at your hotel.
2. Day 2 — Sigiriya at dawn. Sunrise climb, late breakfast back at the hotel, afternoon village cycle.
3. Day 3 — Elephant gathering. Private morning at leisure, sole-use jeep to Minneriya for the gathering at dusk.
