Hatton is a working tea town in the central highlands — the railway stop for Adam's Peak and the entry point for the five restored Ceylon Tea Trails planter's bungalows around Castlereagh and Maskeliya reservoirs. This is the most refined corner of the hill country.

1. Day 1 — Arrival. Private transfer from Kandy (3h), tea afternoon at your bungalow.
2. Day 2 — Walk the estates. Guided four-bungalow walk with picnic lunch, factory tour in the afternoon.
3. Day 3 — Adam's Peak or onward. Pre-dawn climb (in season), or transfer on to Yala via Ella.
