Pasikuda (Passikudah) is a wide, shallow crescent bay on the east coast where you can wade for several hundred metres in waist-deep, glass-clear water. It is the gentlest swimming on the island and a natural fit for families.

1. Day 1 — Arrival. Transfer in, slow afternoon at the bay.
2. Day 2 — Catamaran & reef. Morning sail and snorkel, lunch on the beach.
3. Day 3 — Batticaloa. Day trip south to the Dutch fort and lagoon villages.
