Sinharaja,
a luxury guide.

Sri Lanka's last primary lowland rainforest — UNESCO-listed.

Sinharaja is the last great primary lowland rainforest left on the island — a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dense with endemic birds, butterflies, frogs and mammals. It is the most biodiverse square kilometre of the country, and the natural counterweight to Yala for wildlife travellers.

Best time: January to April. Duration: 2 nights.

See our full Sinharaja destination page for hotels, experiences and a sample itinerary.
