Overview
Kitulgala is a small rainforest town in the foothills of the central highlands, on the banks of the Kelani River — Sri Lanka's main white-water rafting venue, and the location of David Lean's Bridge on the River Kwai. It is the natural stop between Colombo and Tea Country.
